Designed to match the specific requirements of each individual building this service consists of a regular schedule of specific maintenance tasks that are programmed to ensure that buildings, plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice.
Reactive Maintenance
The department operates a 'Smartline Service' during normal working hours for the reporting of in-service failures and defects. Outside normal working hours, the department provides and operates an emergency on-call service, which is tailored to cover the entire geographical area within which the estates department operates. This service essentially means that assistance is available to users on a 24 hour, 365 day basis should the need arise, minimizing any service disruption as much as possible.
